Work with us
Today Pulse earns nothing. So today it pays nobody.
It is the first thing written, on purpose. What could happen later, and on what terms, is in the two columns below, row by row.
Today Pulse earns nothing, so today it pays nobody.
If and when subscriptions bring revenue, it will be decided then whether, how and how much to pay those who work on it. That rule does not exist today, and nobody has promised it: not here, not anywhere.
Until it is written on this page, every hour you give to Pulse is free.
If you work twenty hours and receive nothing, nothing went wrong: it is exactly what this page says today.
solid border: holds today dashed border: not decided, and not a promise
If after working here you reread this page and it seems to have said something else, the page is badly written and gets fixed. Fixing it, though, does not create a fee: only a rule written above could do that, and today there is none.
Three things that do not exist
None was invented to fill the page. If one day they exist, they will be here, with the date.
- The rule for sharing revenue, if there ever is any revenue: who, how much, and whether the hours done before count. Today it does not exist, and there is no date for writing it.
- The form of the agreement, the day anyone got paid: what kind, with what papers. It has not been chosen.
- Who owns what you deliver: whether you can reuse it elsewhere, whether Pulse keeps it when you leave. It must be written before the first delivery: today it is not.
Who we are looking for
Draft · to be corrected
Eight trades, deduced from what the game lacks. For each, it says what you would actually do, not a title. The list gets corrected by whoever carries Pulse forward.
- 1
3D modelling and texturing (Blender)
Rooms, furniture, clothes. It is the biggest bottleneck: today the rooms are shells with little furniture, and every new garment has to be cut to the MetaHuman body so it does not tear at the joints.
Work to do today - 2
Animation
Walks, runs, sitting down, the gestures and poses of the avatars. Today steps are counted by hand, frame by frame, to tell whether a foot slides.
Work to do today - 3
Unreal Engine 5 in C++
The game is written in C++ inside Unreal 5.8: Slate panels, a WebSocket link to the server, materials, animations. It is compiled every day and tested by playing.
Work to do today - 4
Interfaces and legibility
The bar, the panels, the chat, the settings. The game is made to be read even by someone who cannot see well: no text under 20 px, no grey on black. It needs someone who sees it before a player finds it.
Work to do today - 5
Sound and music
Pulse's audio is all still to invent: footsteps, the background of a room, the club. There are twenty-seven sounds made as a trial, in a folder: none of them can be heard inside the game yet.
Work to do today - 6
Testing the game and writing down what does not work
Log in, walk, get dressed, sit down, and write down where it breaks, with the exact sequence to break it again. The entries end up in the Roadmap.
Work to do today - 7
Translation
The site is already in Italian, English and French, translated by a script: it needs someone who reads the translation and corrects it, and someone who will translate the game once it has its words.
Work to do today - 8
Moderating the rooms
The day there are people. Today there is nobody to moderate: it is the only trade on this list with nothing to do today.
Nothing to do today
What you need to know first
- AgePulse is a world for adults: no account is created under 18. It applies to whoever collaborates too.
- LanguageWork is done in Italian. The site is also in English and French.
- ToolsUnreal Engine 5.8, Blender, and a computer of your own. None are provided here, and nothing is reimbursed.
- Who decidesOne person alone. Every proposal gets looked at; not all of them make it into the game.
- How much timeAs much as you want. There is no minimum, no schedule, and nobody keeps count.
How to apply
The way to apply is the Discord: https://discord.gg/AtWZnx7UaH (Questions says it too). There is no public address: you write there, in the #support channel. The server is in English, and the invite never expires.
It starts like this:
Reread the box at the top. If you are still here afterwards, go on.
Look at Where we are and the Roadmap: they are the real work, counted by a script, not a brochure.
Write two things: what you can do, and one thing you have already done.
Write it in the Discord, in the #support channel. It starts with something small and finished — a room, a sound, ten written tests — not with a commitment.
Written on 5 September 2026. It holds until it changes, and if it changes it says so, with the date.
